Get “The Commercial Gym Trainers’ Guide to Dominating the Gym Floor”

Monday Motivation: Installment 28

I love Barnes and Noble.

In Ohio, there was one pretty close to the gym, so I was able to pop over at a moment’s notice and browse the new releases, do some programming, read to kids, the whole sha-bang. It’s an awesome place to chill.

And if you hang out at a Barnes and Noble, you can relate to the following;

But the only B&N that I have seen in LA is at The Grove in West Hollywood. It’s not that far from me, but in LA you have that whole paying to park thing. I definitely took parking lots for granted in the Midwest!

Anyway, I went in over the weekend, looking to add to my book collection (I am pretty good at buying more books when I have 3 or 4 that I have that I need to read). I picked up one by Richard Branson called, “Like A Virgin”.

It was intriguing to me because Branson, the founder of Virgin Group and one of the richest men in the world, didn’t exactly fit the stereotype of the suit and tie CEO.

I don’t know a whole lot about the guy other than that, but I am going to read the book and get the scoop. I am always down to learn from the best in the field and Branson is definitely at the top of the list when it comes to successful entrepreneurs. I’m not sure how I haven’t read a book by him until now!

After I got the book, I went to YouTube and started getting a little more background. I found this interview that he did with Katie Couric to be a good insight into his “rags to riches” story.

Enjoy and have an awesome week!
